The Planneralm ski resort is the highest ski village in Styria (1.600 to 2.200 m) where winter sport still means a joyful experience of nature's beauty. As one of the few ski resorts, the Planneralm only relies on natural snow from the beginning of December to the end of April without needing to prepare the pistes with snow making equipment. The slopes in the ski area range from easy to difficult and are well-groomed.
Visitors will enjoy the beautiful view of the surrounding mountain landscape from 2200 m above sea level, appreciate the rustic and cozy huts and feel the effects of nature on the cross-country trails, winter hiking paths or during the ascent to the beginning of the floodlit toboggan run.
The Planneralm ski resort is only a 30 min drive from Haus Elau and is accessible with your Riesneralm ski pass. For skiing and snowboarding, there are 15 km of slopes and 3 km of ski routes available, all well-groomed and ranging from easy to difficult. 6 lifts transport the guests.
The Ski & Freeride School Planneralm offers individual programs for all ages and experience levels. Regardless of whether you are spending your first few days on the slopes or want to refine your technique, the highly trained ski instructors adapt to your needs and ensure that you feel safe and comfortable on the slopes.
